SV	En zij vonden onder de inwoners van Jabes in Gilead vierhonderd jonge dochters, die maagden waren, die geen man bekend hadden in bijligging des mans; en zij brachten die in het leger te Silo, dewelke is in het land Kanaan.
WLC	וַֽיִּמְצְא֞וּ מִיֹּושְׁבֵ֣י ׀ יָבֵ֣ישׁ גִּלְעָ֗ד אַרְבַּ֤ע מֵאֹות֙ נַעֲרָ֣ה בְתוּלָ֔ה אֲשֶׁ֧ר לֹֽא־יָדְעָ֛ה אִ֖ישׁ לְמִשְׁכַּ֣ב זָכָ֑ר וַיָּבִ֨יאוּ אֹותָ֤ם אֶל־הַֽמַּחֲנֶה֙ שִׁלֹ֔ה אֲשֶׁ֖ר בְּאֶ֥רֶץ כְּנָֽעַן׃ ס
Trans.	wayyiməṣə’û mîywōšəḇê yāḇêš gilə‘āḏ ’arəb^a‘ mē’wōṯ n^a‘ărâ ḇəṯûlâ ’ăšer lō’-yāḏə‘â ’îš ləmišəkaḇ zāḵār wayyāḇî’û ’wōṯām ’el-hamm^aḥăneh šilōh ’ăšer bə’ereṣ kənā‘an:

AC	יב וימצאו מיושבי יביש גלעד ארבע מאות נערה בתולה אשר לא ידעה איש למשכב זכר ויבאו אותם אל המחנה שלה אשר בארץ כנען {פ}
ASV	And they found among the inhabitants of Jabesh-gilead four hundred young virgins, that had not known man by lying with him; and they brought them unto the camp to Shiloh, which is in the land of Canaan.
BE	Now there were among the people of Jabesh-gilead four hundred young virgins who had never had sex relations with a man; these they took to their tents in Shiloh in the land of Canaan.
Darby	And they found among the inhabitants of Jabesh-Gilead four hundred young women that were virgins, who had known no man by lying with any male, and they brought them to the camp, to Shiloh, which is in the land of Canaan.
ELB05	Und sie fanden unter den Bewohnern von Jabes-Gilead vierhundert Mädchen, Jungfrauen, die keinen Mann im Beischlaf erkannt hatten; und sie brachten sie ins Lager nach Silo, das im Lande Kanaan ist.
